About us
OCC was started in 2005 by Ted Hughes, an electrical engineer from Vanderbilt University who was disappointed with the inaccessibility of the plentiful IT talent in Austin. Retailers who operated in Austin charged outrageous rates for even the simplest computer resolution service.
Located in South Austin, OCC serves the whole Austin metro area and provides on-site IT solutions. All the client pays is the visit fee and our hourly rate; that is still more affordable than many retailer's in-store rate. OCC employs technicians with a wide range of technical knowledge. Those that are most comfortable with business networks are assigned to those clients. It is not out of the ordinary to have two technicians come to your job site for cross training purposes.
OCC's staff are fast and knowledgeable, but their most destinct characteristic is their professionalism. The stereotypical "geek" is obsolete. OCC is more dedicated to its own credibility than its marketability.
